About

Nottingham born graffiti artist Dilk began his long-standing career in graffiti as a writer in the 1980’s, prolifically producing work on the streets from a young age. Early influences such as Subway Art and break-dance culture meant the emerging world of graffiti quickly found priority place in his life.
Taking those early old school graffiti influences and turning them into an ever-evolving contemporary art style – combined with his hunger for traveling and new connections along the way – has established Dilk as an important part of the UK’s graffiti history.

In 2002, he opened "Coverage" in Nottingham, one of the first graffiti art store in England and started giving graffiti-based work for organizations and companies. In 2008, Dilk then went on to open UK's first and only MONTANA COLORS store in Hockley. 2022 is his 20 years in Business and the new store located in Sneinton Market, Nottingham.
